I am moving back to London after three months 'abroad'.
This is the plan for the next seven days. Might be a good template for future moves ...
Objectives.
1. To move all stuff out of Heaton to suitable medium term location by the end of the week.
2. To secure short term accomodation close to work and move in for Christmas period.
Constraints.
1. 1.5 days work with Microsoft in Reading (Thursday P.M and Friday all day).
2. Is there currently enought space at Mum and Dads' or is extra required?
3. Can I rent a big enough van to move everything in one lump?
4. Costs?
5. What do I need to take with me to last 'till Christmas?
6. What other resources are required/available?
Milestones.
1. Pack house and move everything into the main room for loading (Est close of evening on Sunday)
2. Rent Van (Monday Morning)
3. Load Van (Monday afternoon)
4. Drive to Bridgnorth and unload (Monday night, Tuesday, Wednesday)
5. Rent Hotel near work (Tuesday a.m)
6. Pack luggage for move to London into two suitcases.
7. Head to Reading (Thursday a.m)
8. Rent Hotel near work (Tuesday a.m)
