Ian's life - comprised of various projects

Many years have passed since my last post and much has happened.  I now have three children and a partner and have been in and out of jobs over the period not to mention a spot of brain surgery and prostate cancer.  I am once more trying to focus on building up a business and currently have three areas where I think that there are some prospects.  Finally I have been modestly trading my own account for a couple of years mostly doing UK traded options but with interests in global fixed income and equities.  I've done particularly well in China although my remaining positions have taken something of a hammering in recent days.  This is fine.  I'm still net up on the deal. 
I'm currently writing two business plans.  I'll update this blog with progress on these as I make it.
